IAVM'S CONVENTIONCALENDAR.COM FEATURES THE SANTA CLARA CONVENTION CENTER

03/06/2015

The International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM)’s industry-leading ConventionCalendar.com is partnering with the Santa Clara Convention Center, Silicon Valley’s premier meeting and event location across from the new Levi’s Stadium—site of Super Bowl 50.

The Internet based calendar links the Santa Clara Convention Center with tens of thousands of meeting and event planners, guiding them through the site selection process for potential new meetings and events. ConventionCalendar.com provides convention center partners a destination marketing and convention booking engine that raises awareness of the economic value convention facilities provide to local communities.

“The Santa Clara Convention Center is a big economic engine for Santa Clara and the region. We are proud to join with IAVM to demonstrate how conventions and meetings mean big business for Silicon Valley,” said Lisa Moreno, general manager of the Convention Center.

The award-winning 302,000 sq.ft. Santa Clara Convention Center features 31 breakout rooms, three ballrooms, 100,000 sq.ft. column free exhibit hall, 607-seat theatre, full service caterer ARAMARK, and high quality audiovisual and telecommunications services.
