Mark your calendars now for the 2017 National Convention in San Antonio, Texas July 9th through July 13th, 2017. The Texas Chapter welcomes you to join us and celebrate the Year of the ’67 with the ’67 Roundup on the River on San Antonio’s famed RiverWalk.
The host facility is located on the RiverWalk and is within easy walking distance of the judging field, the newly completed Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. At over 182,000 square feet, the exhibit hall will easily hold all of the 180+ Corvettes, vendors, and displays. Help us display 100 ‘67s in the Roundup.
You can look forward to a full slate of judging activities including technical seminars and various tours including a nighttime tour of the Alamo, SeaWorld , LBJ Ranch and Western Whitehouse, Fredericksburg and the World War II Museum of the Pacific and more. The National Road Tour will cruise the Hill Country before arriving at the last night out in Kerrville, just northwest of San Antonio in the Hill Country. There will be activities for the entire family.
San Antonio is one of the top four vacation destinations in the United States and there are over 150 restaurants and shops within walking distance of the host hotel.
NCRS Annual Membership Meeting - Make sure you plan to attend this annual meeting for all NCRS members. There will be a brief business report followed by the Youth Judging Awards, Chapter Recognition, Chapter Flight Awards, Founders Awards, Sportsman Awards, Master Judge and higher awards and selected additional awards. This is your meeting so please plan to attend.
Year of the 1967 Display - All NCRS members owning 1967 Corvettes are encouraged and are welcome to register their cars for the 2017 50th Anniversary Year of the 1967 Display at the convention in San Antonio. Any 1967 Corvette(s) registered for the year of the ‘67 will be displayed and receive recognition. So please register your Corvette early. The Texas chapter has promised to have 100 1967’s registered for the year of the ‘67 display.
