ACS Meetings organizes two of the most respected scientific meetings in the world. Our National Meetings offer scientific professionals a legitimate platform to present, publish, discuss and exhibit the most exciting research discoveries and technologies in chemistry and its related disciplines.
Furthermore, our national meetings facilitate networking opportunities, career development and placement, and provide companies an opportunity to exhibit products and services to a targeted audience.
Everyone who attends an ACS National Meeting & Exposition walks away with a greater understanding of the role chemistry plays in the global economy, health, safety, and the environment and is given the unique opportunity to exchange ideas with leading experts in the field.
National Meetings occur twice a year in various cities around the U.S. and each one attracts an estimated 11,000 to 13,000 chemists, chemical engineers, academicians, graduate and undergraduate students, and other related professionals. Each meeting features more than 7,000 presentations organized into technical symposia that highlight important research advances.
Expositions at the national meetings give attendees the chance to meet more than 250 exhibitors, many of whom are showcasing new technological developments. A number of exhibitors also offer free workshops during the meeting so attendees can learn more about these state-of-the-art technologies.
Regional Meetings are organized by ACS Local Sections and supported by ACS Meetings. The meetings reflect the diverse professional interests of specific geographic regions.
